WOW - What a load of artists we have in Class Two. I really hope to see one of your great designs on the flag.
Your homework for this week links to our symmetry work.
To help you could use a small mirror at home and check out some symmetry in shapes and each other

HOMEWORK 9.1.09
Here is a great homework game to practise your multiplication.
By the end of year 2 all children should be able to recite the 2, 5 and 10 times table facts and there corresponding division facts.
The snowball game below will be fun for learning the times tables.
First read the instructions and click play.
Chose what times table you would like to practise (2, 5, 10 for year two targets or 3, 4 times tables for an extension).
As we count up in twos in class we put a finger up for each lot of two e.g. when we have counted four lots of two we end up with four fingers up.

Happy New Year
Thank you very much for all of the presents at Christmas. You were all too kind. I’m pleasantly full of chocolate and lots of other lovely things. You will see me around smelling nice and wearing some cool scarves!
Thank you again
