I really enjoyed the Florence Nightingale game because when you get a question right Florence Nightingale had that thing on a pichture.

Harry has had a look at Florence Nightingale and did the quiz - he surprised me how much he knew. He's also had a go on Year 6 Search Party and got 93%!! Well done to him. He hasn't decided which famous person he wants to look up yet.

Hi Mr Hall,
We read about Florence Nightingale and we learnt that she helped injured soldiers during the Crimean War. She was 90 when she died.
We also read about Captain James Cook (because we saw his statue at Whitby). He was a famous explorer who discovered how to sail to Australia and New Zealand.

I have read about Florence Nightingale I thought her job was Ok. I got all the quiz questions right. I found out that Sammy Davis Jnr and Eli Whitney have the same birthday as me. Eli Whitney invented the cotton gin a machine to make cotton. Christian Slater is exactly the same age as my mum!!!
